American Tax & Accounting is located in Catawba County. We are also close to Alexander, Caldwell, Burke, Lincoln, Iredell and McDowell counties.

Wayne Kight has been an accountant since 1987 and has experience in all phases in small-to-medium businesses including management. An extensive income tax background in individual, partnership, and corporate income tax preparation. In 1999, Mr. Kight became an Enrolled Agent. Enrolled Agents are federally authorized tax practitioners who have demonstrated technical competence in tax law and are the only taxpayer representatives licensed to practice by the United States government.

Jacquelyne Barger joined the firm in 2004 as an accountant. She works with business clients on a day-to-day basis in assisting with their needs and helping them keep in compliance with necessary business obligations. Ms Barger is an Accredited Tax Practioner and assists individuals with their personal income tax returns.
